H & R Sportsman Model 999 Manual
On the recommendation of RJ, I'm requesting anyone who might have a schematic and parts list for an early H & R model 999 to share it or sell me a copy. Please read my post for details: I need a parts diagram for my H & R Sportsman Double Action revolver with a hammer, Top Break, 9 shot,.22LR. I think there is a piece missing from the hammer mainspring assy. Also may need front sight, and a hammer. It will missfire every 3rd or 4th shot.
In finance, an exchange rate (also known as a foreign-exchange rate, forex rate, ER, FX rate or Agio) between two currencies is the rate at which one currency will be.
The firing pin on the hammer is slightly bent in sort of a wavy pattern. There is no model number on the gun. Is 53XXX If anyone has anything that will help me, please leave a post for me or PM me, I will be monitoring the forum. Thanks for your help.
First of all, the not firing may be the result of the revolver being dry fired(a big rimfire NO-NO.this,dry fire.will allow the firing pin to contact the edge of the cylineder/chamber.and causing a burr. Our host has an exploded drawing of the Model 999(aka H & R Sportsman Double Action). Most of the parts too. Thanks T for the link. I had reviewed all the schematics before and none of them are exactly like my gun. Mine doesn't have a model number on it at all, just a serial number and 'Sportsman' on the barrel.
H&r Sportsman Model 999 Holsters
RJ on this forum said he thought it was an early model 999. It is close but the hammer has the firing pin made into it, and the grip is shaped different. Where the back strap of the frame should be, the frame is arced down sharply and intersects with the toe of the butt (under the trigger guard). The bulk of the grip is made up of a one piece walnut grip that slips over the frame. My biggest question is on the main spring assembly (27A) the little square spring stop is missing on mine, but there is a seat in the bottom of the frame for the spring to set in, does it need to have the square spring stop for proper spring tension? Also the guide rod is too short to go into the hole in the bottom of the frame when the hammer is cocked.
Zeke, I'll try to raise Jim Hauff. And pick his brain too. I appreciate the history and the references.

I'll look them up, maybe I'll find something in there that will help.:-k. FWIW, PopPop.You can find an sequence of takedown with photos of the parts in an early edition of The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly Part II: Revolvers My copy has it and it is the edition that carries the price tag of $8.95.meaning it is somewhere around 1979 or so. Recovery toolbox rar keygen. You should be able to find a copy for sale on e-bay or one of the used book sites again FWIW the Sportsman was introduced in 1933 and the one shown in the book is a 1935 version The Model 999 has a different grip frame and a vent rib if push comes to shove, I can photo copy the nine pages of photos and snail mail then to you. Or if someone has a more current copy of the book, they can check to see if it is the same article and sequence.
